Cotswold Group Walk, Saturday 14th April

Published April 10, 2018 by Mark Tribe in News

Led by Stephen Gutteridge, this walk starts at Latton Cross just outside Cricklade, and finishes at the village of Siddington near Cirencester. Join the walk at Latton Cross if using your own transport, or take the 9.10a.m. No. 51 bus to Latton Cross from the Promenade in Cheltenham, returning later on the No. 51 from Siddington to Cheltenham.

This is a linear walk of about 6.5 miles, and the route will follow the course of the old canal, and should take about two and a half hours to complete – but please be aware that the canal footpath can be muddy in places, so please wear appropriate shoes or boots. There will be a coffee stop at about 12 noon, where coffee and buns can be purchased, and depending how long we take there should be time for a well-earned drink at the Greyhound pub in Siddington at the end of the walk, before catching the bus back to Cheltenham.

Please contact Stephen if you plan to join the walk
