Reverend Mark Hutchinson is our Minister, shared with the Cotswold Group of Unitarians.
Mark is passionate that connection with your spiritual path as you see it, is a foundation of personal growth, calm, and change. He values Unitarianism’s emphasis on listening to a diversity of voices, campaigning on social justice and trying, individually and collectively, to be the change we want to see in the world. Mark describes the Unitarian community as a space in which we “seek love, meaning and deep connection.”
You can listen to Mark on our Facebook page, and also on his own YouTube page, where a variety of styles of reflection, spiritual poetry and meditation are available.
Mark has a son and three step-sons and supports partner Sam in respite foster care for teenagers, where they are also working on a programme for supporting teenagers and families in crisis. Mark can be contacted for pastoral support, with experience in addiction and mental health support. Please note that pastoral support is not counselling, but a loving presence open to a spiritual context.
Mark has spent the majority of his working life in the gritty world of waste and recycling industry and retains an interest in a niche recycling company decontaminating hazardous packaging. He also remains a keen cricketer, lover of a variety of music, economic and social history, and the need for us all to take seriously, the roads less traveled.
Currently, Mark is available from Thursday to Sunday.
