Read about Rev Tet Gallardo
Rev. Tet Gallardo is a Filipino. Filipinos are great world travellers and are also known as excellent workers in many countries. From nurses to ship crew members, UN peacekeepers and teachers, they come home to the Philippines just like their ancestors the Polynesians, and they bring the gifts from different parts of the world. These gifts enrich their culture and the diversity of approaches to hardship and happiness that make them a highly resilient people. Rev. Tet Gallardo studied in the Starr King School for the Ministry and served as the President and Executive Minister of the UU Church of the Philippines up to this month. The UUCP is made up of 20 congregations and 5 fellowships, their members are mostly rural farmers. Rev. Tet will speak about the growth of liberal faith in the Philippines as part of Filipino culture, preceding colonizers all.
Do join us for this event if you can. Wherever you are in the world you will be most welcome. The virtual doors of our virtual church will open at 5.45 pm. British Summertime and the joining details are below.
